Adversary

“The devil made me do it,” was a trademark line the comedian Flip Wilson used to catapult himself to fame in the 1970s. The saying was intended to be cute, after all, everybody knows the devil is just an imaginary character. Although Wilson was a funny man, this line served to diminish the true nature of man's most menacing adversary. Satan is the root cause of evil on planet Earth. Let’s examine his tactics; this is a grave matter and must be taken in a serious way. The vast majority of mankind is at the mercy of Satan and his army of devious spirits. You may be one that believes this is silly mythology. If this is your attitude, then I encourage you to pay close attention. It is a matter of life and death. If 5th-dimensional hyperspace is true as demonstrated by Jesus when he walked through a solid rock wall, then there are two separate worlds sharing the same space. Sound impossible? Not to physical scientists devoted to the subject, including Albert Einstein. In 2012, a contraption called Large Hadron Collider managed to smash a couple of protons exposing a particle that had never been observed before. The Higgs Bosom particle had been only a theory prior to the experiment. This new find, affectionately called the God Particle, appears to be an unknown symmetry (law of nature). An element not associated with the known material universe. The Higgs particle is still open to discussion in parts of the scientific community but makes for an interesting study. Academic minds of our time are intrigued by the possibility of twin worlds that share the same space. “Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” (1Peter 5:8)

In the ancient past before the Earth was inhabited, God created the host of heaven, a countless number of spiritual beings who have access to the material as well as the spiritual dimensions. The Bible is clear on this subject. There are some very strange and exotic spiritual characters roaming both worlds. The point of all this is to show that we are not alone in the universe. Many in this company of extra-terrestrials are in the enemy’s camp, and they don’t need flying saucers to invade our space. They simply reside in the unseen world of the 5th dimension.  Why are they so opposed to our existence? It is because we are chosen to rule and reign the universe with Jesus Christ forever in the new heaven and earth, and they are not. “What is man that you are mindful of him, you have made him to have dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet. And they shall reign for ever and ever.” (Psalms 8:4, 5, 6, Revelation 22:5)  The world we live in is extremely violent because a vindictive psychopath governs it and we like lemmings unwittingly follow after him.  “You went along with the crowd and were just like all the others, full of sin, obeying Satan, the mighty prince of the power of the air, who is at work right now in the hearts of those who are against the Lord.”( Ephesians 2:2)

 Television, movies, and the internet are controlled by dark influences feeding us brutally sadistic violence and immorality 24 hours a day. (Wickedness) Now the latest and greatest threat to the next generation is social networking, sharing personal wickedness! There are over thirty types of evil attributed to Satan and his band of rebels recorded in scripture, ranging from physical illness to discord. Space will not allow a comprehensive discussion of all the works of the unseen rebel-world, but I will list a few that are most troubling to this generation. Satan is the most prolific mass murderer in history.“The thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy.” (John 10:10) Indiscriminate killing by nations, terrorist organization and individuals have skyrocketed with no end in sight. Suicide rates have increased dramatically over the last ten years surpassing deaths from motor vehicle crashes. Will more mental health facilities solve these problems? The stark reality is that these atrocities are spiritually motivated and cannot be solved with mind numbing drugs.  Man is on a record breaking pace leading to self-destruction. The proliferation of violence is no more disturbing than the breakdown of moral conscience. The majority now embraces what was not morally accepted only a few years ago. Pornography rules the internet! Soft porn is common on prime time TV viewing. Right and wrong are no longer definitive positions, if it feels good, do it!
