Gender Confusion

What was considered a perversion yesterday, can be readily acceptable in today’s rapidly changing attitudes and behaviors. Perversion is another word for abnormal. For example, to change the course of a river for commercial purposes would be considered perverting the natural flow of the river. Language perversion is popular today; slang words are used more and more replacing the purest form of language. These and many other types of perversions have become socially acceptable over time. If perversions become socially accepted, they become the new norm. In the original creation, everything operated to perfection. No need to change river direction, words or gender. Everything worked in perfect harmony until the strain of imperfection perverted the human race.

When people abandoned God, their thinking becomes self-centered. They no longer followed the wisdom of God and failed to see the natural environment through the eyes of God.  “There is a way that seems right to people, but that way leads only to death.” (Proverbs 16:25) There are right ways and wrong ways of doing things. The wrong choice can be extremely harmful. Most choose the way likely to satisfy their selfish desire, “For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.”(1John 2:16)

 In the case of gender confusion, there is a way that seems right to the tormented few that suffer from the uncertainty of their condition. In the larger culture of sexual perversion that is becoming a more socially acceptable lifestyle, is a willful desire to please the lust of the flesh. If you are one of the unfortunate people that feel uneasy with your gender, you are not alone, nor are you different than someone with a physical disability. You can languish in the throws of your condition, or you can meet the challenges with faith and perseverance and lead a normal life. There is no scientific evidence that people are born with the wrong gender. Remember, God's way is the right way, and man's way is the wrong way. One leads to life, the other to death. “People wanted only to do evil. So God left them and let them go their sinful way. And so they became completely immoral and used their bodies in shameful ways with each other. Because people did those things, God left them and let them do the shameful things they wanted to do.”(Ro.1:24-28)  If you know someone, that suffers from gender confusion love them without judgment and gently lead them out of the darkness into the light.
