The future of earth seems pretty bleak at times with all the bad news that comes our way over the networks. Crime and racial tension are on the increase. Large metro areas are controlled by street gangs, and terrorism has become commonplace in most countries. The traditional family unit is under attack by promiscuous lifestyles once considered immoral, while despots and misguided ideologies threaten conflict around the world. The most alarming danger looming on the horizon is the possibility of a nuclear war. It’s a gloomy future at best, but I have some good news.
“The kingdom of the world has now become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah.
And he will rule forever and ever.” (Revelation 11:15)
This verse earmarks the end of one age and the beginning of another. The return of Jesus Christ to planet Earth. It is the greatest event in the history of man, and it could happen in your lifetime. So what will this new world look like? First of all, there will be no more wars, murder, rape or injustice of any kind tolerated. No perversion is allowed! TV will have only good news to broadcast. No more racial discrimination or class prejudice. Peace will prevail. God and all of His benefits will be the topic of conversation.
“They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.” (Isaiah 2:4)
The justice system will change dramatically. No politicians, dictators, demagogues or self-appointed rulers. The Word of God is the rule of law. All earthly inhabitants will prosper. No bread lines, strikes or bank failures. No need for charities, foster homes or thrift stores. All businesses will prosper, new technologies will be developed that will serve real purposes. Families will be very large and the center of happiness and social activity. No more miscarriages, abortions or stillbirths. No domestic violence or child abuse. Faith will be stronger than at any other time on earth. No need for doctors, sickness, and disease will be healed by faith. Saints will be the physicians of faith. Faith will be the formula for success in the Kingdom of God on earth. All saints will be teachers of the faith, instructing natural people in the value of living by faith in the Word of God. “As it is written the just shall live by faith.”
No need to envy another man's property or goods. All people will find success in what they choose to do. No more financial hardships, stress or worry. No bipolar depression or bad teeth. No more impossible tax forms to deal with. Tithing will replace taxes as the government’s source of funding. There will be no wars to finance or overpaid politicians to deal with. No government salaries to pay. Saints have inherited the riches of the universe and are wealthy beyond imagination. The earth will boom with building projects. No earthquakes, tornados or hurricanes to dodge. There will be abundant blessings in both the plant life and the Animal Kingdom. Earth will look and feel much different than it does today. No water shortages or police departments. Deserts will turn into fertile soil and produce abundant crops. No food shortages. There will be no extreme climate changes. No pollution!
