The Marvel of DNA
The definition of an accident is something that happens unexpectedly and unintentionally. Any explanation of life origins, not associated with a creator, is an accident. There are only two options available to account for the perpetual existence of cosmic material and living organisms, creation or accident. Without the existence of material, an accident is impossible. Accidents get blamed for almost everything that is unpleasant or hard to explain. At best, accidents are inconsistent and can not be relied on or trusted. Chicken farmers, on the other hand, can be certain that their hens will give birth to baby chickens. All living organisms reproduce after their kind. All trees produce other trees just as all rosebushes produce roses. “Then God said, Let the earth burst forth with every sort of grass and seed-bearing plant, and fruit trees with seeds inside the fruit so that these seeds will produce the kinds of plants and fruits they came from. Then God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so.”(Gen.1:11,24)
With this simple explanation in mind, consider the genetic sequence (DNA) of all living organisms, no two are exactly alike. You are not just a grain of sand on the vast beach of humanity in a world that happened by accident. You are an individual like no other created after the God kind. “Then God said, Let us make a man someone like ourselves, to be the master of all life upon the earth and in the skies and in the seas. So God made man like his Maker. Like God, did God make man.”(Gen.1:26) Every person born to Adam's race is unique in their genetic makeup and made different by design. You are placed on earth to fulfill a mission only you can accomplish. You are very important to God because there is no one else like you and never will be. You have a destiny to realize for the benefit of those around you. Never forget that you are “fearfully and wonderfully made.” (Psalms. 139:14)
Although we are all crippled by the sin and corruption of Earth, we will be changed from corruptible to incorruptible at the appointed time, but our DNA will remain exclusively ours into eternity. “It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.” (1Cor.15:45) Jesus' spiritual body was recognized by his disciples after his death and resurrection, proving he took his unique DNA with him into eternity. Never forget that you are one of a kind and not an accident. You were created in the image of God with an eternal destiny. For more about your future read “Beam me up Commander” It's free.
