Tithe Equals Well-Being

When men decided they would go their own way rather than depend on God for their well-being a socio-economic class system developed. The haves and have-not’s! Because God so loved the world he didn’t abandon his people even though most abandon Him. He had a plan in place that would redeem the spirits of lost souls through the birth and death of Jesus Christ. In the meantime, He needed an economic system that would benefit everyone. Tithing became the original tax instituted by God for the benefit of all people. “People all around the country heard about this command. So the Israelite’s gave the first part of their harvest of grain, grapes, oil, honey, and all the things they grew in their fields. They brought one-tenth of all these many things. The men of Israel and Judah living in the towns of Judah also brought one-tenth of their cattle and sheep. They also brought one-tenth of the things that were put in a special place that was only for the Lord their God. They brought all these things and put them in piles.”(Chr. 31:5,6) The tithe guaranteed that everyone needing help would receive the welfare and those that provided would be blessed with abundance. Then, as now, governments were corrupt and used the tithe improperly robbing God’s welfare system. “Will a man rob God? Surely not! And yet you have robbed me. What do you mean? When did we ever rob you?’ You have robbed me of the tithes and offerings due me.  And so the awesome curse of God is cursing you, for your whole nation has been robbing me.”(Mal. 3:8,9)

Today the national debt is 22 Trillion dollars, most of which has offered little benefit for the average person, but managed to fill the coffers of elites and crooks honored with government contracts and connections, including favors to other world governments and their leaders. God’s plan for the honest welfare of all people has been corrupted by dishonest men from the beginning. All the great civilizations of the past have crumbled under the debt load of their dishonest government. The promised awesome curse is hovering over the US debt with no recovery in sight. No amount of tax manipulation will solve the problem. The answer is not in material economics but in a spiritual change of heart. There is plenty of money to go around if men will use the tithe principle properly. The yearly GDP is 20 trillion dollars. There is a great blessing for nations and individuals who will obey God and use the tithe principle correctly. “The Lord All-Powerful says, “Try this test. Bring one-tenth of your things to me. Put them in the treasury. Bring food to my house. Test me! If you do these things, I will surely bless you. Good things will come to you like rain falling from the sky. You will have more than enough of everything.”(Mal.3:10)  Only a foolish nation would pass up this challenge from God. Your tithe is not required to go to a church or religious organizations, it’s a matter of welfare for all. Will you take the test and believe God? Will you find ways to help others less fortunate.
