2021 and Beyond
God has many wonderful things in store for people who wish to take part in His eternal plan. Adventures that earthly insight cannot know. The Spirit of God who bears witness to our spirit, reveals through His Word the truth regarding things to come. These very exciting experiences are real and in the future. Science fiction writers cannot begin to capture the remarkable mind-boggling journey God has prepared for us if we choose to follow. “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.” (1Cor. 2:9) “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace, there shall be no end” (Isaiah 9:6) There is reliable evidence found in the historical record regarding the life and death of Jesus Christ. These accounts are as dependable as any in recorded history. Whereas, the idea that your great uncle was a chimpanzee (the alternative to God) has no credibility either scientifically or theoretically. The Isaiah verse was chronicled over 500 years before Jesus was born. Within those seven lines is captured the essence of our future. It is a world without end, void of strife, corruption, and death, governed by perfect law and order. Love replaces hate, hope defeats depression and possibility replaces decay.
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.” (Psalms 103:2) Because God is the architect and governor of the material universe, He knows His creation from beginning to end. He knows the running dimensions of an expanding cosmos. He knows when a bird dies. He knows the difficulties men face when making crucial decisions faced with multiple choices. He, the author of wisdom has in His forethought provided faithful effective care and guidance in all that He has made toward a successful conclusion. All the necessary elements for life were provided “in the beginning”. The foundations for success in this life and the world to come have been laid. For us to receive these benefits requires we have the knowledge that they exist and the faith to take advantage of them. All the benefits of Divine providence are listed within the pages of the Bible.
“The kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of our Lord and His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!”(Revelation 11:15) The above verse means exactly what it says in reference to the material world. Jesus will rule planet earth in person, in a physical body that can transcend all dimensions. Saints of all ages (people who have been resurrected and changed into supernatural beings) will play a part in His earthly government. In the new earthly kingdom, people will live to be a thousand years old. All resurrected saints will be supernatural in form, aptitudes, and abilities. Saints will be able to transcend all dimensions as well, while assuming their new positions as Heads of state, Ambassadors, Governors, Teachers, or whatever best suits their skills for rebuilding the kingdom of God. Their term will last at least one thousand years on this earth. The earth will change dramatically during this new era. So what will this new world look like? First of all, there will be no more wars, murder, rape, or injustice of any kind tolerated. No perversion allowed! No more racial discrimination or class prejudice. Peace will prevail. God and all of His benefits will be the topic of conversation. “They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.” (Isaiah 2:4-9:7) The justice system will be changed dramatically. No police to defund, no politicians, dictators, demagogues, or self-appointed rulers. No religions or denominations are allowed! Saints will act as judge and jury by Theocratic rule. All offenses will be dealt with on the spot. No court backups! Just saints judging unjust people justifiably. The Word of God is the rule of law. All earthly inhabitants will prosper. No bread lines, strikes, or bank failures. No need for charities, foster homes, or thrift stores.
“ They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth children for trouble; for they shall be descendants of the blessed Lord, and their offspring with them. It shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.” (Isaiah 65:21) All businesses will prosper, new technologies will be developed that will serve real purposes. No more gadgets for-profit, propaganda, or surveillance. Prayers for just cause will be answered immediately. Families will be very large and the center of happiness and social activity. “Then out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of those who make merry; I will multiply them, and they shall not diminish; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.”(Jeremiah 30:19) No more miscarriages, abortions, or stillbirths. No domestic violence or child abuse. Pornography, not allowed! Hospitals will be small and few. Doctors fewer! Faith will be the strongest force on earth. Sickness and disease will be healed by faith. Saints will be the physicians of faith. “And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him, and Jesus said to them, Do you believe that I can do this? They said unto Him, Yes, Lord. Then He touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith, let it be to you, and their eyes were opened.” (Matt. 9:28)
Faith will be the formula for success in the Kingdom of God on earth. All saints will be teachers of faith, instructing natural people in the value of living by faith in the Word of God. “As it is written the just shall live by faith.” The earth will be full of the knowledge of God. The truth will resonate on television, in the movies, on the Internet, in virtually every source of media available to men. No need for church denominations teaching selfish doctrines and half-truths. “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.” (Hab. 2:14) People will be happy with their life. No need to envy another man's property or goods. All people will find success in what they choose to do. No more financial hardships, stress, or worry. No more impossible tax forms to deal with. Tithing will replace taxes as the government’s source of funding. Unlike the corrupt tax systems, tithing is an investment that returns real benefits. “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and try Me now in this, says the Lord of hosts if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing, that there will not be room enough to receive it.” (Mal. 3:10)
The climate will change dramatically, no more natural disasters. “He will comfort all her waste places, and He will make her wilderness like Eden and her desert like the garden of the Lord.” (Isaiah 51:3) No earthquakes, tornados, or hurricanes to dodge. There will be abundant blessings in both the plant life and the Animal Kingdom. Earth will look and feel much different than it does today. No water shortages. Desserts will turn into fertile soil and produce abundant crops. No food shortages. The earth will produce crop after crop without the need for rest. No pollution! Industry and transportation will move on clean abundant renewable energy. One of the most remarkable changes will be in the Animal Kingdom. “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall graze; their young ones shall lie down together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. The nursing child shall play by the cobra's hole, and the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper's den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain.” (Isaiah 11:6, 7, 8) Men and animals will live side by side in harmony with each other. The true purpose of the animal kingdom will be reviled.
We are moving toward the end of this age. All prophetic signs point to the second coming of Jesus, just as He promised. This article is a thumbnail of what Jesus's earthly government could look like according to Bible prophecy. The coming of Jesus is not a bad thing it’s a very good thing. There is a place for anyone who wants to be a part of the family of God. “ Only fools think there is no God.”(Psalm 14:1) As the world moves deeper into darkness only the light of God will prevail. “ Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”(John 8:12) The new year 2021 will be eventful if not scary but the future is very bright for people who choose to be part of God's plan. The decision is simple, make Jesus the center of your life, accept Him for who He is, and for what He did for us when He gave His life for our sin.
