Faith in God is the Most Powerful Force in the Universe

God created the Earth and all the elements necessary to sustain life. He then created Adam and Eve. God placed the Earth in a perfect orbit around the sun. The sun is the major energy source that maintains life on the Earth. God put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and supplied all their earthly needs. He had only one requirement, Adam and Eve would live by faith, trusting God to sustain them for an eternity. Adam and Eve were created with free moral agency, and the right to choose their own destiny. They disobeyed God and spurned the most powerful force in the universe. All humans are born with faith, it’s part of our DNA “God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” (Rom. 12:3) God uses faith to speak things into existence, the attribute that makes him God. “God gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist.” (Rom. 4:17) The definition of faith is “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Heb.11) God used faith to create the material universe and give life to Adam and Eve. “Through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God so that things that are seen are not made of things that do appear. (Heb.11)” This does not imply that men can have the same faith as God, but we are given a measure. God is the source of faith!

So, how do we activate this God-given power force in our lives? First, we must believe God's Word without wavering “he that waivers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord.” (Ja.1:6-7) Second, we must have the patience to wait for the answer. “But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.” (Rom. 8:25) Jesus used a measure of faith to illustrate the power in it. “for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” (Matt. 17:20) This is how it works, if we plant, water, and cultivate a seed, in time it will grow into a plant and produce a crop. All farmers use mustard seed faith.

Faith is essential to a believer. “But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” (Heb.11:6)   It is not unusual to be lied to in our troubled world, it’s the rule rather than the exception. Trusting God for the answer is the only way to know the truth about anything. “Let God be true, but every man a liar.”  (Ro.3:4) God has given us a directive to live by faith in the Word of God and not by our flawed senses. “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” (Cor. 5:7)   Are you willing to trust God in all your ways, if so, He will guide your path. “Righteousness shall go before him and shall set us in the way of his steps.” (Psalm 85:13)
