About Success

Because God is the architect and governor of the material universe, He knows His creation from beginning to end. He knows the running dimensions of an expanding cosmos. He knows when a bird dies. He knows the difficulties men face when making critical decisions faced with multiple choices. He, being the author of wisdom, has in His forethought provided faithful, effective care and guidance in all that He has made toward the successful conclusion, which he has chosen. All the necessary elements for life were provided “in the beginning.” The foundations for success in this life and the world to come have been laid. For us to receive these benefits, it requires we have the knowledge that they exist and the faith to take advantage of them. All the benefits of Divine providence are listed within the pages of the Bible. “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.”  Always remember what is written in the Bible. Speak about that book and study it day and night. Then you can be sure to obey what is written there. If you do this, you will be wise and successful in everything you do. (Ps. 103:2-Jos.1:8)

If this scripture is true, then the Bible is the most important source of knowledge a man can possess. The evidence is in observation. Look around you; all things continue to function within their chosen design. From your flower garden to the solar system, there are Divine laws acting on our behalf that maintain order. Isn’t it time we begin to use some of this Divine knowledge to rescue our children from the grip of apathy and indifference. It is estimated that kids from 8 to 18 spend an average of 8 to 10 hours a day on electronic devices in the mind-numbing worlds of violent or sexually oriented games and TV. They are absorbing unacceptable music videos, texting up to 500 times a day, and more than occasionally bullying each other into depression. Isn’t it time to co-operate with God against the works of hell? Isn’t it time to pull this generation out of the abyss and set them on the path to true success now and into eternity?  “Prove me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.” (Mal. 3:10)

It is the will of God that men be successful and prospers in every aspect of their life as is stated above. To experience success and well-being in an imperfect world, it is essential we partner with God in all phases of life. The process is simple but challenging. In order to “have good success,” we must “do all that is written therein.” In other words, spend as much time with God (His Word) as with TV, video games, soccer matches, fitness workout, etc. In general, spend as much time with our spiritual person as our physical person. Let's look at it another way. Our mind work like a computer storing all information it receives, good, bad, right or wrong. For the information to be useful, it must be sorted and categorized. If the Spirit of God is the filter of the information, “then thou shalt have good success” and have a greater sense of well-being. If, on the other hand we allow our earthly senses to spark our thinking process we will be more likely to make wrong decisions. For this to be our way of life, it will be necessary to store the right kind of information (the truth) to be referenced by the Holy Spirit.“The Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, all things that I have said to you.” (John 14:26) Remember our mind is our own; we are free to put whatever we want in there. Doesn’t it make sense to store information that will provide lasting benefits?  If we say it can’t be done, then it will never be done, but if we say,“With God, nothing will be impossible. All things are possible to him who believes.”(Luke 1:37-Mark 9:23.)

We are offered only two life options, creation or evolution both being realized by faith, doesn’t it make sense to investigate the one with the most benefits? Only a fool could say no to this question. Because!!! “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither has entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.”(1 Cor. 2:9) On the other hand, evolution offers no benefit. To learn how to have success in all phases of life, read “Beam me up Commander.” It's free!
