Does God Speak To You?

When God gave Moses the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai, He spoke to him in an audible voice. Moses was a Jew, raised in the house of Pharaoh, the King of Egypt. Later, Moses became aware of his heritage and sparked a rebellion that led the Jews out of Egypt into the Sinia wilderness. While in the desert he received an extraterrestrial visit. “ Now Mount Sinai was completely in smoke because the Lord descended upon it in fire. Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly when the blast of the trumpet sounded long and became louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by voice, and God spoke all these words.”(Exodus 19-20) God went on to provide Moses with the Ten Commandments, the moral compass we live by today. Moses was so inspired by the encounter that he became the hand of God and wrote the first five books of the Bible. “The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives; it straightens us out and helps us do what is right.”(2 Tim. 3:16)

We often think that if we could just sit down and have a face to face with God all our troubles would be solved. You might be surprised to learn that God speaks to us as clear as He spoke to Moses on the mountain. To speak to God, Moses had to climb to the top of the mountain. Today we can simply open and search the living Bible. When foreign dignitaries meet to discuss world issues they need interpreters to translate their message. Bible authors are the intermediates between God and man by supernatural interpretation. God has given us all the instruction we need to help us through our troubled lives. God is tenderly aware of the pain and suffering we go through in this world. Jesus made it clear that no one is void of trouble   “I have told you these things so that you can have peace in me. In this world, you will have troubles. But be brave! I have defeated the world!” (John 16:33)

It is unlikely God is speaking to anyone in an audible voice today. But, you can be sure the Bible has an answer for any question. When God speaks, the truth is established, He cannot speak in idle fashion. Now learn the secret to a personal conversation with God. The Holy Spirit will bring to our remembrance what God has already said about any issue. “ The Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”(John 14:26) If we have been diligent in our Bible study, our brain has stored all we have learned in-memory files. The Spirit of God will search and remind us, in a still small voice, what we need to know. For more about the voice of God read “Beam me up Commander” its free!
