Bible Accuracy or Political Correctness
There are at least 35 major Christian church denominations in the United States. Worldwide, they are too numerous to count. In Heaven, there is one church! A Christian church should be defined as one that recognizes Jesus as the son of God and savior of the world. The Bible is the foundation of the church, without the Bible, there is no church. The Bible came before the creation of the world. “Before the world began, the Word was there. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was there with God in the beginning. Everything was made through him, and nothing was made without him.” “The Word became a man and lived among us. We saw his divine greatness—the greatness that belongs to the only Son of the Father. The Word was full of grace and truth.” (John 1:1-3-14) If the Bible is the absolute source of truth as confirmed above, why are there so many differences among earth dwellers? The simple answer, the Bible is the most purchased but less read book of all time, therefore, not many people know the absolute truth. The more disturbing answer is that ambitious men, including clergy of all kind, have refused to accept the word as written and try to make it fit comfortably within their own imperfect ideological misunderstanding. The result is a congregation of bad ideas that conform to a dying world governed by mortal men. “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”(Ro. 12:2) The Bible should be read and accepted as it is plainly stated, at face value as though Jesus is speaking directly to you. God does not need our help to clarify or preserve what he has said, that remains the responsibility of the Holy Spirit. “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”(John 14:26) In other words, if the Bible says that God separated the Red Sea with 30-foot walls of water on either side so the Israelite’s could pass through unharmed, believe it! Understanding will follow a thorough investigation of the scripture.
In a world full of Political Correctness, the information is skewed by the party behind it, therefore, difficult to draw reliable conclusions. If my ambition is to be an electrician I would be wise to study under an electrician. If I wanted to know more about the origins of life, its purpose and future, I would consult the creator of life rather than street-corner philosophers. Conflict and confusion are squabbling relatives bent on destroying each other. This explains why men can go to the moon but can't mend relations. We need a savior that will bind us together. The Bible will introduce you to the savior who will stay with you the rest of your life. The Bible will answer all relevant questions. Your only responsibility is to accept and believe it to be the absolute truth. “The Lord says, “I will teach you and guide you in the way you should live.
