The shameful state of marriage
In the distant past, the triune God had a meeting and agreed to create man and woman in their image. “God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: So God created humans in his own image. He created them to be like himself. He created them male and female.” (Gen.1:26-27) life on earth was created to reproduce itself and be different than life in the spiritual dimension. In the spiritual dimension, all beings were created individually, not born. Angels do not reproduce other angels. Therefore, procreation is unique to earth. “Marriage is for people here on earth, but when those who are counted worthy of being raised from the dead get to heaven, they do not marry. And they never die again; in these respects, they are like angels.”(Luke 20:34-36) God then gave the man and woman a command to multiply the race. “And God blessed them and told them, “Multiply and fill the earth.” (Gen. 1:28) Birth would be an easy painless experience, so women could have as many children as they desired without unpleasant consequences. And so, the earth would reproduce through marriage.
The word joined is the Bible definition of marriage. “A man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.”(Gen. 2:24) There were no legal documents involved in the first marriage. God was the ruling Justice, and nothing has changed. To better understand the term marriage, it may be applied to plumbing connections when joining two fixtures. For example, it takes a male and female fixture to join separate lines. Whereas two male fixtures cannot be joined. In God's plan for man, the purpose of marriage is to have and raise a family in a loving God-centered environment. “Fathers, don’t make your children angry, but raise them with the kind of teaching and training you learn from the Lord.” (Eph. 6:4) When Adam joined Eve in marriage their union became a commitment to serve God and teach their children to do the same. Sexual relationships outside of their union would be considered a marriage without commitment. This means that when people have so-called recreational sex, they have married their random partner in the eyes of God. “ Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither. The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband: For thou hast had five husbands, and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband.”(John 4:16-18)
With the increasing acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community and the approval of random sexual encounters, the Biblical definition of marriage is no longer meaningful. Today's sexual behaviors produce only children without fathers, cohabitation without commitment and abortions on demand. There is a terrible price to pay when we ignore God's instruction. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”(Prov.1:7) Each new generation becomes worse than the last. Bible marriage will soon become a thing of the past. Children will be raised by autonomous baby sitters without faces and without principles.
