Resolve the Conflict in Your Life
To argue religion is an unproductive waste of time and should never be used as a method to defend the Bible. When someone wants to argue about the Bible, it generally means they don’t have a working knowledge of its' content or intent. The Word of God will always stand alone in its' defense. Not only is the Bible a work of spiritual integrity, knowledge and wisdom, it is also the most reliable book of antiquity in print. The Old Testament records the history and struggles of a morally corrupt people and their desperate effort to reconnect with God. It is brutally honest in documenting the accounts of degenerate man and his altered nature. The cynics and doubters will use bits and pieces of this honest documentation to try and cast doubt on the Bibles authenticity. They will question historical events that seem humanly unreasonable like the Red Sea parting. They will reject all supernatural manifestations claiming them impossible. A sincere investigation of both Testaments will reveal that the New Testament fully satisfied the integrity of the Old Testament putting to rest any idea that one conflicts with the other. The continuity of the Bible would be remarkable if it only covered a few hundred years using just a hand full of authors, but six thousand years using over 30 surrogate writers is beyond remarkable.
The birth of Jesus Christ, His life and redemptive works are predicted over 300 times in the Old Testament. These amazing prophecies were inspired by God over the course of 4,000 years beginning in Genesis (Ge.3:15). Jesus arrived on planet earth just as scripture predicted and suffered the full penalty of the law for Adam's transgression. These historical events also recorded in secular history, fulfilled the Word of God, proclaimed in the Old Testament. Upon His return the second time, Jesus will satisfy all remaining prophecies in both Old and New Testaments including those pointing to the end of this age and the beginning of eternity. Even though men have turned their backs to Him in rebellion, He has provided a way for humanity to be reconciled back into His family through the death and resurrection of Jesus. God holds no grudges nor bears a grievance with his earthly creation. His love and provision are for every individual born of Adam's race. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”(John 3:16)
To remove all conflict in your life, simply trust the Bible for what it clearly says. Let no man or devil steal your faith with lies, misconception or personal views. The Bible means the same to everyone there are no hidden meanings for an elect few. No one knows something that someone else can’t know. There are serious conflicts in the world today spearheaded by instant information technology. Some tru,e some not so true, most confusing.
